Meet the Author
Steven Ryan Oliver is a former senior engineer in the defense industry. Born and raised in rural Texas, Mr. Oliver has degrees in mathematics, chemistry, engineering and computer science.
As a distinguished graduate of several U.S. military training programs (including Scuba, Ranger and Airborne schools), Mr. Oliver served two tours in Vietnam with special forces units. He is a registered professional engineer who also holds a pilot's license and a 3rd-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. He presently lives
in New Mexico.
